On October 10th, 2024, the Medical Superintendent's office and the administration facilitated the inauguration of the refurbished OPD Block (120) for Endocrinology and IDTRC in the OPD block of the Vellore campus, as the Unitary OPD for the Department of Endocrinology and Infectious Disease (IDTRC).

The ceremony was held in the presence of Prof. I. Rajesh, Medical Superintendent; Dr. Joymammen, who represented the Directorate; and Mrs. Annie Jerome and Ms. Sonia Valas, General Superintendents, respectively.
